Listen: Mallrat - Suicide Blonde (Prod. Tigerilla)

For Christmas last year we ran 10 Days Of Christmas competition where every day we gave away something different. It was fun and hopefully put a smile on a few peoples' dials. One of those competitions was for a set of headphones, and today we're premiering the first song by a 16-year-old gal from our neck of the woods, Mallrat. She contacted us a few weeks back letting us know it was her first song, and was made using those headphones, so how could we say no? Well we could if the song wasn't up to scratch, but Suicide Blonde is a killer first tune, produced by Adelaide-based producer Tigerilla. It's a fun, thumping and at times tropical beat, with vocals from Mallrat that effortlessly flow from hooky chorus to killer verses, and definitely sound a lot more maturer than one might expect from a 16-year-old. It's a super fun tune, and we hope you like it. We can't wait to see what else comes from those headphones, but more importantly, Mallrat:
