Listen: Jarreau Vandal – Be Alright

There is no doubt that Kendrick is king, but it's always refreshing and interesting to hear different takes on his songs. Soulection member Jarreau Vandal decided to put his own spin on Kendrick's To Pimp A Butterfly track Alright, and the result is undeniably fresh. He takes the main words from the song and layers them with trap elements and signature Soulection jazzy sounds, creating a version of the song that is both bouncy and mellow. Jarreau's remix is very different than the original but is just as catchy in its own way.
