Get Intoxicated with the flaring first release from Sydney’s Eduardo Muchacho

A young maestro of the Sydney club scene steps out solo.

It’s about time you’re all introduced to one Eduardo Muchacho. Carrying a very cheeky pseudonym and cued in taste for club cuts this fellow is prepping for a lengthy time on the circuit. A man of the late night, Eduardo is all about crafting big vibes on dimly lit dance floors. Taking pride in his ability to select rare slices of brilliance, he’s now given us a taste of his inaugural original.

And what a first statement he’s made. Intoxicated kicks from the get go – quick fire drum breaks combine effortlessly with unique bent synth work, stirring up a rampant atmosphere. Pair this up with one heck of a vocal sample, Rick James’s Give It To Me from 1981 and we’ve got ourselves a whirlwind of funky house audio. There’s a realm of production expertise in this number, which already has me itching for what’s next. Released a mere 9 days ago, the tune’s already had spins from the likes of Groove Armada, Shadow Child and Claude Vonstroke and is now primed for ears worldwide. Get giddy to Muchacho’s Intoxicated below:
