friendships' very informal guide for Australian artists going to CMJ in New York

Xannies. Lots of xannies.

Melbourne duo friendships have had a fantastic 2015, garnering plenty of acclaim on the interwebs and the radiowaves, including the killer video below which we had the fortune of premiering earlier in the year. It's all leading up to their upcoming trip to CMJ alongside a host of other rad Aussie acts like SAFIA and Owen Rabbit. In celebration, we asked Nic and Misha how they're preparing to make the trek to New York this month, and what ensued was a very informal, and by no means to be taken as sacrasanct, Facebook chat/guide to how friendships are preparing for their trip.

Misha: Step one: Get heaps of xaniesss cuz the flight over will turn u into a skerrick of a human but dont miss out on the weisz treats cuz they r heaven.

Nic: OMGGGG weisss treats soo good.

Nic: Get a good Sativa/sour diesel delivery guy.

Nic: Jet-lag is your mind playing tricks and can be combatted with booze, adderall and sativa. sleep when ur ded

Nic: Hang out with the pooners (the harpoons) as much as possible.

Nic: Find a place with killer rooftop to have beers on.

Misha: Take note of air bnb security codes so a rooftop sesh is never far haha.

Misha: I fully just walkef ivt main road wothoit lookikng cu u was mi smart phone lol

Nic: Mishhh, stahhp it. U will die.

Misha: I kno ryt. Worst timing
