The Emma Louise we first knew with her debut album vs head vs heart has almost disappeared with her latest single Talk Baby Talk. Indeed, her work with Flight Facilities on the beautiful Two Bodies seemed to signal a step towards songs that don't so much burst alive with energy but slowly roll out into a crescendo, and Talk Baby Talk is a perfect example of this. With the 808 drums hidden in the background of the song it oozes a sensuality that comes alive when Emma Louise sings, "Why can't we just talk about it / We used to be such good friends".
