Radkey get rad with clay in their brilliant new video for Glore

Five stop-motion animators, 435 bars of clay, ten weeks of preparation and filming…ponder that equation next time you consider creating a ‘claymation’ video for your band’s new single.  Thankfully, Missouri garage punk trio Radkey decided it was worth the effort for their track Glore, and the result is a visually outstanding clay masterpiece. For two minutes and nine seconds, director Nicos Livesey takes us on a psychedelic journey through a colourful but deranged clay world, punctuated by blood, vomit and violence, all creating the perfect backdrop to Radkey’s rapid fire, skate-punk vibes.

Radkey, made up of brothers Dee Radke (vocals/guitar), Solomon Radke (drums) and Isaiah Radke (bass) released their debut LP Dark Black Makeup earlier this year, and Glore is the epic follow up to first single Love Spills. Dark Black Magic is chock-full of fast-paced, catchy, old-school punk and it’s the perfect soundtrack for your summer arvo skate sessions.
