Premiere: The Lighthouse & The Whalers preview new album with Senses

The Australian release is this Friday.

Chicago four-piece The Lighthouse & The Whaler are releasing their new album, Mont Royal, down under at the end of the week (September 18) via the good folks at Smack Face Records, and there's plenty to be excited about going off this, the fourth track from the LP. Sitting somewhere between the soaring new wave sounds of City Calm Down and the indie-pop sensibilities of Two Door Cinema Club, it's beautiful stuff. It scored plenty of love upon release in the states last month, and there's no reason why it won't do the same here, with driving synths, soothing vocals and dance-able beat on Senses boding well for the rest of the album.
