Exclusive: Watch Oh Pep! bang out a couple tracks live for Half Way Sessions

The on-going series, known for its completely live, tape-recorded sessions, kick off their 2019 in a stunning manner.

We've been harping on about the Half Way Sessions for a while now, but there's a reason for that. Over the last twelve months, the crew have been filming live recordings with emerging and established artists, creating "an environment in which an artist can be seen and heard in their most raw, unedited and personal way." Over the last year, we've been stoked to premiere some big Half Way Sessions - Press Club, PAGAN, Sloan Peterson and West Thebarton among them - and we're kicking off 2019 in much the same manner, with the Half Way Sessions team coming back in exceptional force, enlisting Oh Pep! for their eight edition.

The Australian duo are one of our country's finest - and arguably overlooked - acts, with their latest album (last year's I Wasn't Only Thinking About You...) solidifying their place as one of our most unique and exciting names. They're quickly becoming known for their live show too, performing CMJ, SXSW, Primavera and Glastonbury along with NPR's famed Tiny Desk series, and their Half Way Sessions really supports this, stripping their music back to its most raw, intimate and personal for a series of covers that really impress. Hot off the heels of I Wasn't Only Thinking About You..., the band are doing a couple of US dates next month, so if you're in those parts, be sure to check out all those details below - along with their Half Way Sessions live recording.

Tour Dates:

March 12-14 - Austin, TX @ SXSW
March 15 - Boston, MA @ Great Scott
March 17 - Charleston, WV @ Mountain Stage
March 19 - Toronto, ON @ Baby G
March 20 - Detroit, MI @ El Club
March 21 - Chicago, IL @ Schubas
