Combining pulsating beats with shining synths and a deep, bouncy bass line alongside her alluring vocals is Eva Uribe AKA Lolita Mae on new single Neo Jax, out February 2 but premiering on Pilerats today!

Simultaneously nostalgic and alluring, Neo Jax’s electronic production perfectly complements Lolita’s vocals that detail a dark tale of a relationship gone wrong. Mae explains "'Neo Jax' is a half-fictional story about a traumatic and toxic past relationship that ultimately ends with an attempted suicide. It was a relationship demolished by the thrashes of emotional abuse, manipulation, vices and infidelity inflicted by this former love; the writing of this song was a form of confrontation with these painful events."

Alongside the single comes a striking music video directed by Alex Ditsas and filmed/edited by Jack McAvoy. Alternating between outdoor beachside locales and slick studio settings, the mesmerising visuals pull you into Lolita’s world.

Out Friday February 2, give Neo Jax a spin a day ahead of release, and for those in Sydney, catch Lolita launching the single tonight at Lazybones Lounge (more details below):
