There's a lot of incredibly moving music coming out of names typically overlooked within the Australian music scene, and amongst these names stands Greta Stanley. She's an emerging name from the depths of far north Queensland who pairs subtle acoustic melodies with soaring and lyrically-emotive vocals, which on her stand-out single Come Undone, really stood forward as an artist to be reckoned with, uniting a warping instrumental rich with melodic subtleties with her own vocal swoon, which on her new single Kick, makes a brilliant return. Kick is more emotive and tender, with Stanley's vocal really elevating and becoming more drawn-out as it echoes over the soft instrumental backing. "You know when you put all your emotions away, because you’re too busy, too tired to think, too scared to share them with anyone, maybe even yourself? Eventually, one tiny thing will cause an avalanche it and it all comes in at once - cue breakdown," she says on the single. "Waves of depression that hit you so hard you feel like you can’t get up, and sometimes you actually can’t get up, and that’s okay – you just have to know that in time you will - the light does come back on."

Today, we premiere the single's official video, which pairs the single's tender feeling with visuals that feel intimate and personal - visualising the emotional complexities of mental breakdowns in what's actually quite an honest way. "I’m going to be fine, I’m going to be good, just get up and out of bed and get on with it. Maybe not right now, but tomorrow, or in a week, but just keep going, even if you’re moving slow." Arriving ahead of a collection of shows over the next month - full run-down below - watch the video now:
