New Music: RATKING - 700 Fill

New York underground rap slayers RATKING share a free Bit Torrent bundle.

Since they blitzed the world with the phenomenal So It Goes last year, then blew us away down under at Laneway Festival last month, everyone's been watching Harlem rap trio RATKING pretty darn closely. Last night, they quietly shared a brand new project called 700 Fill for free through BitTorrent - with features from Remy Banks, Teddy, Slickyboy, Despot, as well as Princess Nokia, lead singer Wiki's leading lady, who also had a feature on So It Goes by way of the track Peurto Rican Judo.

The bundle also features a trippy short film crafted by Ari Marcopoulos, the director behind their Piece of Shit video. Like So It Goes, the tape's a reflection on New York city life, and Wiki and Hak are spitting as strong and as witty as ever. 700 Fill refers to a type of North Face jacket, made of goose down - it gets shouted out throughout the release, in both American Gods and Lenape Lane. You might also recall Wiki endorsing North Face in their early track, Snow Beach: "Every year need a North Face for warmth sake". North Face should clearly be giving these guys free jackets or something by now. Download yourself some experimental hip hop HERE. Listen to a couple of tracks below, and check out the tracklist.

Tracklist:

1. American Gods feat. Remy Banks, Teddy, and Slickyboy
2. Arnold Palmer
3. Bethel
4. Eternal Reveal
5. Flurry"
6. Lenape Lane feat. Slickyboy
7. Steep Tech feat. Despot and Princess Nokia
