Acoustic/folky house had something of a renaissance (or was it breakout?) year in 2014, with artists like Milky Chance and Ásgeir dominating radiowaves in Australia and abroad, along with producers like Kygo and Thomas Jack slaying Soundclouds, and it's in a similar vein to those artists we introduce you today to Rod Ladgrove. The Port Pirie-based songwriter/producer has a couple of albums to his name, along with working as a behind-the-scenes producer for some larger popstars, but today we're focusing on his latest single, India. The rolling 4/4 beat, coupled with light percussion and delicate guitars are definitely in line with lazy summer afternoons, and coupled with Ladgrove's soothing vocals, it's a great track:
