Listen: Dianas - Favourite Place

Float away with the latest track from Perth trio Dianas.

Local outfit Dianas are a musical force to be reckoned with. Fresh off the back of Alpine, Abbe May and Laneway Festival support slots, along with regular shows of their own, the band have gone from strength to strength. Their latest single Favourite Place is the third release from an upcoming self-titled debut album, set to launch in early September. Dianas’ signature blend of dreamy pop balanced by a feathering, melancholy lyricism is a winner; with new addition John Lekias (Doctopus, Runner) on drums, skilled guitar lines and lush, melodic vocals reminiscent of Warpaint, Favourite Place is a tune we’ve got on repeat for the weekend. And mark September 4 in your diary - it's when Dianas launch their album at The Rosemount Hotel (Facebook event HERE).
