Listen: Connie Constance - Mood Hoover

The UK sensation continues to tease her forthcoming album with her latest wistful release.

About a month ago, Connie Constance announced her signing to Play It Again Sam, as she revealed the news of an album on the way with the release of a call-to-arms take Till The World's Awake - which you can read more about here. Today she continues to tease the release of the forthcoming LP; Miss Power (out November 4th), with her latest melancholic single Mood Hoover.

Constance Rose Power performing as Connie Constance, makes music that people with ‘main character syndrome’ will find most relatable. Mood Hoover is no exception, as the UK sensation narrates personal experiences wrapped in sensationally warm production. With a repetitive beat, bright guitar plucks, and an unwavering bass line, the track although more wistful and laid back than previous singles, builds to a climatic breaking point, as Connie’s angelic harmonies swirl around her powerful lead-vocal delivery.

On the release Connie shares “The writing of this song came from one of my mum’s classic phrases….. “mood hoover” - she would call my adolescent brother when he would finally make it down to dinner to be around his (from his teenage point of view) out of touch parents and uncool siblings, and not really want to engage in our family chit chat. [The track is about] all those bits about your lover that drive you nuts but you couldn’t live without...I [dove] into my little bit sarcy, little bit cheeky and a little bit moody perspective. [It's] our “us against the world” song. Could be your lover, or your partner in crime. It’s saying that, in our unique bubble, we’re the most awesome people in the world - with all our jagged edges, baggage, dreams, and quirks…. People just don’t know it yet, but one day they will.”

Out today, be sure to give Mood Hover a listen below, as we patiently await Connie Constance's full album's delivery come early November.
