With so much new music coming out each and every day, it can be hard to listen to everything... but we'll be damned if we don't try. Basement Jaxx & 100 gecs - where’s my head at _
After setting the internet on fire by dropping a wild Where’s Your Head At remix to open their Boiler Room set earlier in the year, 100 Gecs have officially released their bass heavy upper tempo flip of the iconic 2001 Basement Jaxx cut. Out now via XL Recordings.
Bleachers - Alma Mater
Jack Anatoff’s Bleachers announce their fourth studio album in fine style with a stripped back, stunning new single that features regular Anatoff collaborator and icon, Lana Del Rey. Bleachers’ new album Bleachers is out March 8 via Dirty Hit.
Cakes da Killa - Cakewalk
NYC-based club-rap mainstay follow’s up last year’s Svengali LP with a new cut of EDM and hip hop fusing rapidfire raps. Out now via Young Art Records.
gglum - Easy Fun
A few weeks on from her previous single SPLAT! The London-based singer-songwriter returns with a driving new cut of lofi indie rock flavours. Out now via Secretly Canadian.
Mandy, Indiana & clipping. - Sheared (Pinking Shears Rework)
We were huge fans of Mandy, Indiana’s intense single of EBM meets hip hop vibes Pinking Shears back when it dropped in March and we’re almost bigger fans of this distorted and satisfyingly stark rework featuring experimental rap innovators clipping. Out now via Fire Talk.
Porno For Pyros - Agua
The Perry Farrell (Jane’s Addiction) fronted 90s alt rockers showed they’ve still got a knack for crafting atmospheric & catchy cuts with their first new music in nearly 3 decades since 1997’s Hard Charger.
ShitKid - Dirty Guy
After very sadly calling it quits on her ShitKid project back in 2021, Swedish upstart alt-punk-pop upstart Åsa Söderqvist has unearthed some unreleased cuts, with Dirty Guy the first taste of her upcoming Rejected Fish LP - the original version of her debut studio album, Fish. Rejected Fish is out December 1 via PNKSLM Recordings.
Shygirl - thicc
After dropping an awesome single with an amazing music video featuring Tinashe earlier in the year, as well as being remixed by the one and only Bjork, Shygirl isn’t done with 2023 yet as she drops a euphoric, hands in the air housey, trancey new single. Out now via Because Music / Virgin Music Group.
Siobhan Cotchin - Give It Up
After releasing just the awesome Miss Reckless EP in June, the celebrated Boorloo-based singer-songwriter fuses pop punk with her unique brand of country rock on addictive new single.
The Terrys - No Bad Days
Aussie indie rockers continue their meteoric rise with anthemic new cut as they announce the follow-up to their 2022 debut album. The Terrys’ new album Skate Pop is out February 23.
