Framed: Afarin Sajedi

Framed: Afarin Sajedi

Explore the vivid and commanding paintings of Iranian artist Afarin Sajedi.

Afarin Sajedi is a painter born and based in Iran. Educated at Tehran Azad University, Sajedi trained in graphic design before moving onto painting. Her style and subject matter are influenced by Gustav Klimt, using her love of the "aggressive" colour red to further explore the depths of the modern woman in her depictions. Sajedi's work has been showcased in four solo exhibitions, with a fifth upcoming in March.
