Video: Belle & Sebastian - Nobody's Empire

Belle & Sebastian have just released a video for their track Nobody's Empire.

Belle & Sebastian have just released a video for Nobody's Empire which makes use of pieces of archival footage, fan-sourced film, and footage from the album cover shoot. The song itself is reflective of Stuart Murdoch's medical issues and his struggles as a young man with them. It's a rather endearing piece of indie-pop, with it's the mellow tempo, a steady flow of piano keys and light licks of a guitar. And Murdoch's airy voice suits the steady change in footage especially the use of VHS footage. Nobody's Empire is taken from Belle & Sebastian's forthcoming album, Girls In Peacetime Want To Dance, which will be released Friday 16 January in Australia.
