WA drum'n'bass lord ShockOne has thrown his hat into the post-Flume electronica ring on a remix you might not have expected, but one that definitely works. It's also a tune where you'll realise that Brisbane songstress Thelma Plum has the perfect voice for bangers. Plum has been traversing the country celebrating her new EP Monster - a tour that wraps up this weekend at the SoundLounge on the Gold Coast tonight, and The Zoo in Brisbane Saturday 29 November - check the video for Young In Love HERE. ShockOne meanwhile has been somewhat quiet on the production front, and while this remix is something of a departure for one of Australia's biggest bass music exports, it's no surprise that a dude with his production chops can play in different genre sandboxes and handle it with aplomb. He's appearing at next week's Electronic Music Conference, before headlining WA Boxing Day festival Breakfest.
