Milan Rings Sinks Into 2024 With New Single 'Quicksand'

After releasing her first new music in a few years late last year with her huge, vibe-melding single Mangos, Milan Ring hasn't waited long to bless us with more new sounds in the form of commanding new single, Quicksand.

Combining elements from trap, upper tempo dance music and r&b, Quicksand pulls you in with it’s head nod inducing drums, soaring, atmospheric synths and Milan Rings’ silvery vocals that address and reflect on the struggles of youth.

Of the track, Milan elaborates “Quicksand is about accepting yourself as you are and allowing love in. Having the safety and grounding of a love that allows you to take risks, go forward and break through the limitations and barriers that the world places on us, and that we internalise. The metaphor is that even when you appear to be climbing, the ladder is simultaneously sinking without that solid foundation”.
