Following a two-year blackout the proceeded the release of his breakout debut EP, 1-4, in 2014, UK rapper Jelani Blackman has well and truly returned in 2017 with a new EP on the way, and Not You is the telling first cut. Produced by Kwesi Darko, Staf & FRED (Ellie Goulding, RAYE, Charlie XCX), it's surely one of the year's most unique new pieces of music within the genre of hip hop/rap. He'll continue to release a new track each month in the lead-up to his forthcoming EP, 5-8, and we're feverishly anticipating what comes next.
