Sea 'N Beats

Sea 'N Beats

Somebody fetch me my pirate hat.

If you, like the rest of Australia who can't go to Holy Ship, are tired of looking at the photos from that electronic-music-festival-on-a-cruise ship each year wishing you could rave on a boat - long no more! Sea 'N Beats (the name works on two levels!) is Australia's first electronic musical festival at sea, launching in 2016 for a good vibes cruise off the coast of Queensland from March 5-8. It'll feature seven (count 'em) stages on board a 2000-person curise liner, along with a one day festival in the middle on a mystery island off the Queensland coast. Now you're probably thinking quit selling when you've already sold, but we're all music lovers here right? So the lineup is worth a damn, and Sea 'N Beats is definitely none too shabby, featuring, in alphabetical order:

Alison Wonderland - Bad News Toilet - Discovery - Hayden James - Hot Dub Time Machine - I OH YOU DJs - JAWZ - KLP - Luen - Mickey Kojack - Paces - Pines - Safia - Slumberjack - Stoney Roads DJs - The Kite String Tangle - Touch Sensitive - Yeo - Young Franco

... with a second lineup TBA.

Obviously it's not gonna be super cheap, and starting from $960 is gonna take a bit of effort witih your piggy bank over the coming months, but it's on a freaking cruise ship. There's also VIP packages and things of that ilk on offer. So click on the poster below to head to the Sea 'N Beats website, and start making plans for a trip to Brisbane in 2016.
