There's no secret that RL Grime is one of the most hyped producers on the market, with wave after wave of releases cementing him as one of the forerunners of trap music. So unsurprisingly, when news broke of the #trapgod playing his new remix of The Weekend's The Hills online, it caused quite a bit of a stir. After a few weeks of watching crappy-quality live videos, the don has finally dropped the full remix on his soundcloud and boy, does is it go large. The remix builds on The Weeknd's already memorable vocals, with synth and drum rolls building before exploding into a very Rustie-esque explosion of synth and bass, also sporting a quick sample slip-in of his single with What So Not, Tell Me before blowing up into the second drop. The remix is set to go down a treat when the man himself tours the country (for what seems like the tenth time) later this year across the NYE break. Bring. It. On.
