Listen: Owen Rabbit - Denny's

We've had a lot of fun following Owen Rabbit's Journey in 2015. Over a solid few weeks in September/October he gave us a rad little insight into his national tour support following SAFIA around the country (honestly, check 'em out HERE), and now he's gearing up to close the year in style following a quick trip to CMJ with new single Denny's. The follow-up to Holy Holy, Denny's sees Rabbit continue evolving his own indie-electronic sound, with a focus on his impressive vocal range. The song itself deals with - as is often the case with Owen Rabbit - honest and candid insights into the musician's own pscyhe:

"I suffer from depression and anxiety. One night of panic attacks and delirium in Los Angeles was a catalyst for a long journey through different therapists, doctors and dosages. I’m in a better place now. I’m glad I got help. I’m lucky that I have music in my life. Denny’s is about that night and how I changed."

He's currently supporting JOY. on her national tour, which hits Brisbane (Nov 13) and Perth (Nov 14) this weekend at Jack Rabbit Slim's, followed by Sydney (Nov 20) after that.
