Listen: Gordi - Taken Blame (Sin Fang Remix) [Premiere]

Sydney and Iceland meet on this brooding new remix.

Taken Blame is 21-year-old Sydney artist Gordi's follow-up track to the single Nothing's As It Seems, both soon to feature on her upcoming EP, and today we're excited to premiere a remix from Icelandic producer Sin Fang. Sin Fang has worked with the likes of Sigur Ros and Soley, and is currently working with the former's Jonsi on a new album, with this Gordi remix his first creative output for 2015 before he properly bunkers down to complete it. Coming from the icey regions of the world he does, it's no suprise this remix of Taken Blame brings a melancholic, down-tempo late night vibe from the folksy original. Swelling bass and stark cymbal work create a moody couple of minutes. Listen to it below and check out the original HERE.

While Iceland's a little far away from us in Australia, you can catch Gordi supporting Montaigne at Sosueme at the Beach Road Hotel in Bondi next Wednesday 20 May.
