Harvey Sutherland continues to defy expectations with his latest 12" release, Amethyst/I Can See, featuring London-based saxophonist Nubya Garcia and drummer Kahlil Memphis, and he's just unveiled a beguiling new video clip for Amethyst, working with revered director Nic Hamilton (Actress, Kelela, SOPHIE). The elegant clip features dancer Michael Scott-Kahans, a full time dance student who starred in Baz Lurhmann's Strictly Ballroom musical from 2015, with choreography from The Australian Ballet's Kalman Warhaft.
Indeed, it's an exceptional powerful amount of talent coming together for one video clip, and we're excited to share not only the video, but some behind the scenes photos from another incredibly talented person in photographer Lisa Businovski - check it all out below and catch Sutherland at a couple of upcoming Melbourne shows this weekend on Thursday 29 November (new show) and Friday 30 November (sold out).
