Come down the rabbit hole that is the Stereosonic Perth 2015 Facebook event

Event walls are the new Reddit.

Stereosonic came and went over in the wild wild west yesterday, after the Aussie EDM festival kicked off in Sydney the day before. The lead-up to the Perth event wasn't without a bit of controversy, namely someone starting a PETITION to get LA-based future-house lord of 2015 JAUZ's set time shifted from its original early slot 1.55pm early slot to later in the day - "A proposed time would be somwhere between 4-7". And in a - perhaps misguided - case of 'ask and you shall receive', his set did get shifted to 8.15pm. Then of course there was the tragic passing of a Sydney punter on Saturday after she was evacuated from the festival and died in hospital of a suspected overdose. The news didn't seem to deter many (if any) at yesterday's event, as a quick perusal of the Steresonic Perth 2015 event will attest.

And RE: the JAUZ saga, in a classic case of 'be careful what you wish for', the Sonic stage (home to JAUZ, Duke Dumont, What So Not, Diplo and more throughout the day) was closed off pretty early after reaching capacity mid-afternoon. Lesson-learned: Don't bow down to punters too lazy to get down early to see an act they're keen on. And note to punters: Hype acts like JAUZ get those early slot times to try and get you down to festival early. Why can't we all just get along?

Anyway, the Stereosonic Perth 2015 Facebook event wall is a goldmine of good times with the good people of Stereosonic, and we decided to grab a few to give you a laugh as you feel all kinds of pain from a big Sunday night/weekend:

Some people were offering some un-verified statistics:

Some people went to an EDM Festival and had a serious epiphany:

The regret was real:

And some people are still finding ways to turn things into Drake memes:

And some people were just straight up fucking ruthless:
