Alison Wonderland drops a triumphant new remix of Dua Lipa's New Rules

The Australian production queen gets her brass on as she tackles Dua Lipa's chart-topping anthem.

Alison Wonderland is building up to something big. It's no secret that she's currently knee-deep finishing her long-awaited sophomore album and in the lengthy recording process, we've barely heard a peep from her, except for featuring on M-Phazes' mammoth return Messiah and remixing Lido's clanging album stand-out Crazy. But with the album coming along swimmingly she's just dropped something new, taking on Dua Lipa's chart-topping New Rules for an anthemic, brassy new remix. The remix starts off steady, with Alison building up to Dua Lipa's vocals with a clubby drum pattern to build up energy. After a brief opening vocal from Lipa, Alison Wonderland's remix quickly heats up, bringing together shaking bass with anthemic brass and vocal cuts in a way that sort of feels like a more modernised take on trap's horn-filled sound back in 2014 or so. It's an absolute belter of a remix and is set to go down a treat as Alison hits up the east-coast on her quickly-selling Wonderland Scarehouse tour this November/December.
