Premiere: Listen to Loves Me Not, a scuzzy new tune from Perth's Human Buoy

Human Buoy continues making cool tunes that are hard to pigeonhole, easy to enjoy.

Perth's very own Human Buoy has today unveiled a brand new single in Loves Me Not, a scuzzy little affair that furthers his status as one of our fine city's unique music voices. The dirty bass lines and muffled vocals are great, turning the track into some kind of well-oiled hot mess that we are very much into: "I wanted to capture the torturous juxtaposition between love and despair in a somewhat erratic and careless manner. The verses are a maelstrom of sarcastic heartbreak and the chorus is the sunny side that sometimes shines through when you wake up in a good mood with a slight hint of hope on the horizon."
