Premiere: Edward Grace - Distant

Premiere: Edward Grace - Distant

Dive into some exquisite, emotional & soulful indie pop from Sydney-based artist a few days ahead of release

After releasing his breakthrough single Figure It Out in late 2021, Sydney's Edward Grace spent 2022 further refining his sound and finding his voice and makes his return with the epic & emotional Distant, out March 8 but premiering on Pilerats today!

Underpinned by a chill, downtempo beat, Distant features poignant piano alongside the star of the show - Grace’s captivating, powerful voice, with the production tastefully reverb-drenched.

On his new single, Grace says “The chorus of ‘take my hand, take my heart, we’ll go running back to the start’ is the crux to the song and meaning. Reiterating that the relationship is failing and the thought of going back to the start with the bright bubbly, excitable feelings would be a breath of fresh air and would put you back into that honeymoon hope.”

Distant is the first taste of a forthcoming six track EP that “explores themes of love, the self, and comfortability in not being ok”, set for a September release.

Until then, get Distant as Edward Grace’s new single premieres on Pilerats ahead of its March 8 release!
