Listen: The Buoys - Red Flags

Sydney four-piece return with blistering slice of indie-pop-punk goodness ahead of Splendour slot

Fresh off the back of a sold-out headline Australian tour and just ahead of their Splendour debut, Sydney's The Buoys are back with new single, Red Flags.

A blistering slice of modern indie rock with pop punk sensibilities, Red Flags channels the feel good vibes of 90s/2000s alt-rock with a modern twist (and some shredding guitar solos!).

According to the band, “Red Flags is a bit of a tongue in cheek take on the red flags you see in life. I wanted to poke fun at the fact that sometimes you can see it so clearly but decide to sweet it under the rug for a minute, and you’re just chilling in the calm before the storm.”
