The Cairos are back with their latest single Love Don't Feel Right and the tinges of a Tame Impala influence can be heard all over the track. Especially within the airy vocals and the crisp drum beats which are also the song's strongest elements. Without digging too much into The Cairos past discography Love Don't Feel Right seems a marked shift from the straight-cut big riffs and 'what you see is what you get'. Rather by cloaking Love Don't Feel Right in reverb it creates a dreamy mood where everything isn't apparent immediately. This draws you into parts of the song but not the full piece. Rather you start out by gradually zooming in on the cool vocals, then the drums start to bubble up into your ears and finally it starts to come together into the subtle hit that is Love Don't Feel Right.
