With so much new music coming out each and every day, it can be hard to listen to everything... but we'll be damned if we don't try. Here are our favourite tunes from the week that was from the likes of Carla Geneve, Haiku Hands, Hector Morlet, Juice Webster, Kylie Minogue, Lower Plenty, Maria BC, POOKIE, Sofia Kourtesis and Yirinda!

Carla Geneve - Euthymia

Dreamy, downtempo & emotional sounds on the second single from Geneve's forthcoming album. Caral Geneve's new album HERTZ is out October 27 via Dot Dash / Remote Control Records.

Haiku Hands - Feels So Good

Eora/Sydney-based Alt-pop-dance trio deliver a breakbeat infused new anthem and announce their second album. Haiku Hands' new album Pleasure Beast is out December 1 via Spinning Top.

Hector Morlet - Ghosts and Ghouls

Boorloo/Perth-based singer-songwriter dropped his latest single this week, a psychedelic & kaleidoscopic cut of "1950’s spaghetti-western inspired" sounds. Hector Morlet's new album The Variety Show is out September 22 via AWAL.

Juice Webster - Black Coat, Black Skirt

Naarm/Melbourne-based artist edges closer to her debut solo album with a touching slice of stripped back shoegaze and alt-rock sounds. Juice Webster's debut album JULIA is out September 15 via Cohort.

Kylie Minogue - Tension

36 years on from Locomotion, Kylie shows just why she's a timeless icon on the piano-house-pop title track of her forthcoming new album. Kylie Minogue's sixteenth studio album Tension is out September 22 via BMG.

Lower Plenty - Back to the Foldout

Beloved Naarm/Melbourne-based four-piece announced their fifth album with an acoustic guitar strum fuelled jangly new single. Lower Plenty's new album No Poets is out October 6 via Bedroom Suck Records.

Maria BC - Amber

American experimental-ambient-pop artist dropped two new singles, with the beautifully delicate sounds of Amber our pick of the two. Maria BC's new album Spike Field is out October 20 via Sacred Bones.

POOKIE - TALKIN DIS DAT

Boorloo-via-Naarm rapper, producer, songwriter and DJ POOKIE continues her ascent on bouncy new single - check out the video for her previous single with Kuzich that we premiered the live video for here.

Sofia Kourtesis - Vajkoczy

Peruvian-born, Berlin-based producer, vocalist and DJ's latest single is a joyful slice of uplifting vocal house. with the single and her new album dedicated to renowned neurosurgeon Peter Vajkoczy who successfully operated on Sofia's mother. Sofia Kourtesis' new album Madres is out October 27 via Ninja Tune.

Yirinda - Yuangan (Dugong)

Butchulla songman Fred Leone and internationally acclaimed contrabassist/producer Samuel Pankhurst have joined forces as Yirinda (meaning 'now' in Butchulla language), releasing their stunning first single of sweeping ambient strings and Leone's poignant vocals. Yirinda's self-titled debut album is out February 16 2024 via Chapter Music.
