Underline - The North Fremantle Rail Bridge Mural Project

Bringing vibrant public artwork to the pillars of North Freo's iconic Rail Bridge.

Western Australia has seen an upward trend in public art over the past couple of years, with major names painting walls across Perth, Fremantle, and regional parts of the state. The latest initiative, curated by Sherrie Wilson Projects, is set to revive the pillars of the North Fremantle Rail Bridge with a splash of colour from six local artists, accompanied by Italy's Nemco. Titled Underline, the project kicks off over the next few days with an all-star lineup of our favourite visual talents: Kyle Hughes-Odgers (oft-known as Creepy), Amok Island, Fecks, Ayres, Jessee Lee Johns (whose work you might know by the moniker Hosae), Ayres and Nemco. In preperation, we'll be running profiles on these guys concurrently throughout the week. Here's a little sample of what to expect.
