Lose yourself in these oddly hypnotic animations.

The humble .gif - GIF or Graphics Interchange Format, formally - is revered across the web for its animation capabilities. Artist Zolloc, however, is using it for a more fashionable purpose. Zolloc is the pseudonym of New York-based Hayden Zezula, an animator and designer who's been using the medium to create mildly trippy, intensely detailed pieces of art.
