Introducing Dutch painter Martine Johanna and her explorations of the feminine human form.

Martine Johanna lives and works in Amsterdam, having studied fine arts to the level of gaining her Master’s degree. This certainly shows in her artwork, with flawless technical skill and beautiful results. An occasional fashion illustrator, when she’s not sketching models in couture, her work delves into explorations of the feminine human form. Working on wood, canvas and paper, Johanna’s paintings have been featured in two major solo exhibitions, and several publications including Beautiful Bizarre magazine. We’ve selected excerpts of her work below.
