Silentjay wants to take you on a groovy ride through The Glyde

The multi-instrumentalist dances out the first single from forthcoming beat tape.

Having toured alongside such profile artists as beatmaker Flying Lotus and funk master Thundercat, and following the release of acclaimed album Sacrifice (co-written with frequent collaborator Jace XL), Melbourne multi-instrumentalist Silentjay returns this month with beat tape Come Fly With Me — due September 14.

And now, fans of the artist can hear the first single from the upcoming project, with groovy, jazzy The Glyde, an exquisite party-starting homage to 90s beat box culture, enlisting Nish Mathur in an accompanying dance video.

That isn't all, however, as Silentjay invites his fans to spend an evening with him at Melbourne venue Howler on September 29 and celebrate the launch of Come Fly With Me, with friends Man Made Mountain, Baz Richie and more along for the ride. Tickets available via The Operatives.
