The New Adventures Of Sable

The New Adventures Of Sable

Sable is back with new music, new friends and new enemies.

"A saccharine hyper-beat backs a cuddly ode to internet-born love." - The Fader

"A bubblegum pop gem." - Linda Marigliano, triple j

When the infectious club bounce of Perth producer Sable’s breakthrough single Feels So Good hit the airwaves over the Summer of 2014, it marked a significant shift in Australian electronic music. Marrying the jersey bounce and club crushing production chops of then break-out stars like Ryan Hemsworth and Nadus, with an undeniably Australian polish and sheen, it ushered in a new era of Aussie club music that came to include the likes Basenji, UV Boi, and more.

Touring the country countless times and keeping fans happy with an instantly-sold out 7" vinyl release (Surf/Thunderwave), collaborations with Bloc Party’s Kele and USA underground king Promnite, a number of festival performances, jetting to LA for studio sessions with the likes of Skrillex, Mark Johns, and even Justin Bieber.

This morning, his brand new track One And Only premiered on The Fader, featuring for the first time, the voice of Sable himself, One And Only comes filtered through androgynous larynx tones and a GPS-dizzying vocal, with the 'Current Location' marker hovering over somewhere not of this earth.

"One And Only is a love song with a hidden meaning. Its focus is on the relationships people build online and then the feelings of attachment they develop from that. It's a pop song at heart dressed in a club aesthetic." - Sable on the track.

As PC Music’s Sophie, Ryan Hemsworth and more continue to introduce the world to the anthemic, larger than life sounds of K-Pop, and crackling European club bounce, Sable takes those ideas and flips them into something entirely his own.

With a new live show on its way, and a yet-to-be revealed stage piece/travelling companion, there's much more to tell. But for now, please enjoy the perfectly crafted future pop of One And Only, catch him at Splendour in the Grass 2015 on the Redbull Music Academy Stage, and click on the comic book cover down the bottom to head to his FACEBOOK and follow the new adventures of Sable.

Oh and give this a Hype Machine <3 HERE and we'll love you for even longer than the forever we already love you.
