Hailing from the northern suburbs of Perth, Midnight Goon (fka Goodnight Moon), unveil their new single In My Side ahead of its official March 11 release, and we're pleased to be able to premiere it today.
Since forming in 2015 and after a few name changes along the way, 2017 finds the group settled and ready to rock and roll with a unique brand of hard rock, grunge and psychedelia - perfectly encapsulated on In My Side. The track follows on from their debut EP last year, and was recorded and mixed by Sam Ford from Tone City Studios (Pond, Abbe May, Sugar Army, Ah Trees). It also marks a maturation for the group, utilising synthesizers and laytered instrumentation that gives their sound a fullness we haven't seen in the past.
In My Side will be launched officially at Jack Rabbit Slim's on March 11 with Villanova and Bliss In Berlin, more info/details HERE.
