Listen: Twin Haus - I Used To Think

Listen: Twin Haus - I Used To Think

Twin Haus are back with a new single ahead of a new EP.

At Pilerats we think Twin Haus are alright, we were lucky enough to premiere their monster single Blood Tapes that came out last year, and they're are back with a new, reverb-lathered track called I Used To Think. Starting out with some Foalsesque guitar licks it then drops into a melancholic mood with echoing guitar riffs and dry drums. I Used To Think is more experimental where Blood Tapes was more abrupt and loud in it's presentation. Instead of the crashing builds and change ups I Used To Think gently glides through moments of calm and frenzy. This difference from other releases by Twin Haus allows you to be lulled into the intricate sounds that are built, I Used To Think has a lot of instrumental parts, rather than overt breakdowns. I Used To Think is Twin Haus's first single from their upcoming second EP that is coming out via Brisbane-based Bedlam Records, and you can catch 'em live at a few dates after the track:
