Adrianne Lenker - Sadness As A Gift

After teasing her new solo album with last month’s Ruined, Big Thief’s Adrianne Lenker has announced her first solo album in four years with new single Sadness As A Gift. Showcasing her tender vocals and intimate songwriting, Sadness As A Gift features some poignant fiddle alongside mellow guitars and Lenker’s charming vocals. Adrianne Lenker’s new album Bright Future is out March 22 via 4AD.

Furious Frank - Revv Head (Diesel Mix)

Melbourne-based producer furious frank gets deep on this new cut of 4/4 trancey electro, forthcoming on a new split 12” with DJ Dogg and featuring a remix from underground hero DJ Fett Burger. Volume 3 by DJ Dogg & Furious Frank is out February 12 via Mind Dance.

Jahari Massamba Unit - Massamba Afundance

Madlib and Karriem Riggins return as Jahari Massamba Unit with a new slice of upbeat, feel good, South American-influenced jazzy dance sounds, bringing all the flavour of a street festival right to your headphones. Jahari Massamba Unit’s new album YHWH Is Love is out March 1 via Law of Rhythm.

Jlin & Philip Glass - The Precision Of Infinity

American producer & footwork innovator Jlin links up with living legend composer & pianist Philip Glass for a brilliant meeting of minds ahead of her new album also featuring collaborations with Björk and Kronos Quartet. Jlin’s new album Akoma is out March 22 via Planet Mu.

Moor Mother - Guilty feat. Lonnie Holley & Raia Was

Ahead of their performance at this year’s Perth Festival, two of the most interesting artists around Moor Mother and Lonnie Holley team up for an epic 10 minutes of avant-ambient-jazz, also featuring Raia Was and production from harpist Marry Lattimore. Moor Mother’s new album The Great Bailout is out March 8 via ANTI-.

Shygirl - tell me (ft. Boys Noize)

British producer & vocalist links up with German legend Boys Noize for a throwback trancey cut of Eurodance goodness ahead of her collaborative new EP that also features the likes of Empress Of, Kingdom and SG Lewis. Shygirl’s new EP Club Shy is out February 9 via Because Music.
