Music videos are artistic extensions of the songs themselves, with many visual accompaniments becoming just as, if not more iconic than the song it was created for. As usual, some of our favourite songs of the week also had some of our favourite videos, with this week's list including Blondshell, CIVIC, Geese, GloRilla, Gloss Up & Slimeroni, Molly Burch, Sampha, Slauson Malone 1, Soul Glo, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers and Tkay Maidza.

Blondshell - Street Rat

After just being announced for Laneway 2024, LA artist on the rise has a deluxe edition of her debut album on the way, featuring new dreamy grungy new single and a behind the scenes of touring style music video. The deluxe edition of Blondshell's debut self-titled album is out October 6 via Partisan / Liberator.

CIVIC - Hourglass

Aussie four-piece follow-up their sophomore album from the start of the year with a rollicking new single alongside a video shot in the suburbs capturing the Australiana vibes.

Geese - Jesse

After releasing their acclaimed 3D Country album, Brooklyn indie rockers Geese have a new EP on the way appropriately titled 4D Country featuring live fave Jesse, which they've released alongside a cryptic video featuring mysterious orange cloth clad characters. Geese's new EP 4D Country is out October 13 via Partisan.

GloRilla, Gloss Up, Slimeroni - Wrong One feat. K Carbon, Aleza, Tay Keith

GloRilla co-directed the fun, party-starting video for her latest heavyweight hip hop collab that sees Glo & co. on the rampage.

Molly Burch - Tattoo

With her new album out at the end of the month, American indie pop singer-songwriter Burch delivers a majestic, laidback new single and nostalgic & emotional music video, both dedicated to a lost friend. Molly Burch's new album Daydreamer is out September 29 via Captured Tracks.

Sampha - Only

Sampha announced his sophomore album six years on from his debut with a tender new single of trappy flavours & cinematic music video. Sampha's new album LAHAI is out October 20 via Young.

Slauson Malone 1 - New Joy

Enigmatic LA-based multi-disciplinarian’s new single and video are a perfect one-two pairing of experimental yet accessible & addictive indie vibes. Slauson Malone 1's new album EXCELSIOR is out October 6 via Warp Records.

Soul Glo - If I Speak (Shut The Fuck Up)

Philly hardcore punks are back after their phenomenal 2022 LP Diaspora Problems with a raucous new single calling out people who focus on optics over art, with a wild video censored for YouTube and the unedited version on their website.

Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers - Salt feat. The Grogans

Big Aussie collab results in emotional & anthemic single & DIY-style video shot on suburban streets. Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers new album I Love You is out October 6 via Domestic La La.

Tkay Maidza - WUACV

Zimbabwean-Australian hip-hop icon Tkay Maidza's first album in seven years drops this November, with the   distorted, hypnotic & in-your-face sounds of WUACV the latest taste with a slick, stylish & choreographed black & white music video. Tkay Maidza's new album Sweet Justice is out November 3 via 4AD / Dew Process.
