View From The Pics: Kathryn Farmer
A series giving you some behind the scenes access to our fave young photogs.
Welcome to View From The Pics, a new series inviting some of our favourite photographers to document some of their life. We send 'em a bunch of options of things to shoot, they go out and shoot, and we publish them. You can check previous ones for Tay Kaka HERE, Sean Finney HERE and Littlek HERE and this week, we meet Kathryn Farmer, an exciting, Brisbane-based photographer who is one of the most exciting Australian names in live music photography, recently snapping Maitland's Groovin' The Moo for us earlier this year. Check out her View From The Pics below, and follow her on INSTAGRAM / FACEBOOK.
If you didn't take a photo of the Bondi Icebergs pool did you really even go there?
I'd just driven 4 hours home from my parents' house and spotted this scene in the industrial area near Brisbane Airport.
My favourite place to photograph. A little petrol station frequented by backpackers as it's one of the last before the barge to Fraser Island.
Here's a throwback in honour of the 6 god. I threw together a little edit of his Coachella set from a couple of years ago with some photos I shot on a point & shoot.
This is not my ride but I walk past it almost every day and imagine myself owning it.
Testing a new camera that was delivered that morning.
