Framed: Paradox - Exhibition Opening

Young artists Jamie Preisz and David Kurzydlo pair up for a stunning show in Sydney.

Emerging visual talents Jamie Preisz and David Kurzydlo have teamed up for an exhibition titled Paradox, showcasing work that explores themes of duality, fallacies of correlation and causality, and, of course, paradoxes. It's set to be a stunning show of work, merging two complementary styles. Preisz' practice has recently seen him undertake a residency in Paris after a solid run of exhibitions, diverging from his aerosol art origins to take root in Sydney's figurative painting scene. Kurzydlo's work similarly focuses on the human form - a natural path from his background in medical illustration. Both take their work beyond traditional confines of realism, and we can't wait to see what they have in store. Paradox opens tonight - the 12th of December - at 6.30pm, and runs until tomorrow at The Weave (244 Victoria Road, Marrickville).
