Framed: James Giddy - Dreams Aside

Framed: James Giddy - Dreams Aside

A solo show of new work from the young artist.

Perth-based artist James Giddy is exhibiting a new body of work, opening this Friday. Dreams Aside is an exploration of his family's heritage in Africa, painted from a collection of the artist's own memories and photographs. His works are self-described as centred around 'a sense of longing and hope' for the eventual realisation of dreams, portrayed through the artist's relationship with this background. The show opens at 3pm this Friday the 26th of September, at 11 Bournville street, Floreat.
