Live Sessions: Methyl Ethel - Twilight Driving
Fall in love with the Perth trio's catchy, sentimental track, live from a lounge room rich in relics.
Shot in beautiful and unexpected locations, Pile TV's Live Sessions showcase the raw talent of artists we love. Intimate, stripped-back performances full of emotion and power. A new session premieres on the first Tuesday of every month.
Perth bedroom indie-pop trio Methyl Ethel were right at home in the eccentric ambience of our filmmaker Tay's Grandma's house, a property surrounded by towering gum trees in suburban Dianella, Western Australia.
The boys gave us a warm rendition of their endlessly catchy track Twilight Driving, one of our faves off their killer album Oh Inhuman Spectacle. Fall in love with their lush textured guitars, and Jake Webb's sentimental vocals, live from a lounge room rich in relics.
