Algiers - 73%

Atlanta art-rock experimentalists Algiers deliver "an impressionistic love letter to the energy and movement of New York City that I missed so much when I was exiled in ATL during quarantin,” according to the band's Franklin James Fischer, as we get more excited for their new album Shook, out February 24.

Alabama outsider artist teams up with the truly singular Moor Mother for a new single of experimental jazz and afrobeat influenced sounds. His new album Oh Me Oh My (out March 10) will also feature Michael Stipe (R.E.M.), Bon Iver and Sharon Van Etten.

Mia June - Hungry

Nearly a year on from us meeting Mia and her debut single, she's back with the rocking indie folk sounds of Hungry, out on the awesome Father/Daughter Records.

Miss Grit - Nothing's Wrong

As New York-based Margaret Sohn gears up for the release of their debut album Follow The Cyborg (out Feb 24), we've been blessed with the hypnotically gorgoues new single, Nothing's Wrong.

OMICRON - Akkadian

The first cut of deep, rumbly analogue electro from Boorloo/Perth based producer OMICRON's forthcoming Value Theory EP, out on dope local imprint Midnight Elevator.

Philip Selway - Strange Dance

Radiohead drummer teases his third solo album Strange Dance (out February 24) with the title track of atmospheric and experimental sounds.

Retiree - Coming Together

After a 3ish year hiatus, Sydney synth-pop three-piece Retiree are back with their all too appropraitely uplifting, new wave influenced new single.

Spacey Jane - Sorry Instead

Hot on the heels of being 6% of this year's triple j Hottest 100 (including places #3, #5 and #6), Spaceys have released a deluxe edition of their 2022 album Here Comes Everybody, featuring this surprise new single.

Talib Kweli & Madlib feat. Amani

17 years on from their Liberation album, hip hop titans Talib Kweli and Madlib have announced Legacy 2 (out March 6), with their epic new single, featuring MC Amani.
