Italian artist Silvia Pelissero is perhaps one of the most recognisable contemporary artists on the internet. For just under a decade, Pelissero has been known as agnes-cecile on art-sharing website DeviantArt with a significant following. Her highly established style of painting utilises watercolour as a primary medium, and focuses on themes of vulnerability and human emotion.
