CinePile: The Deadpool Red Band Trailer is epic

CinePile: The Deadpool Red Band Trailer is epic

From languishing in never-to-be-released hell to one of 2016's most anticipated movies.

Each year a whole new run of superhero movies come out, and every year people proclaim the death of cinema, how boring it's become, how tiresome it is to watch a new superhero origin story every few months. And to be fair, those complaints can be warranted. But you can also not go and see them and the world will still be fine. I for one enjoy some comic book movies, and while I'm getting a little tired of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, I'm hella looking forward to Batman V Superman next year. Because Batman.

I'm also looking forward to Deadpool. There's a lot of expectations being placed on this one. Fans clamoured for a long time to get it made, they royally fucked up the character inĀ X-Men Origins: Wolverine. But the comic book gods appear to be smiling on us with a proper Deadpool movie, played by the guy was born to do so, Ryan Reynolds. This one sets itself apart (slightly) from usual comic book movies in that it's violent as fuck, and the character of Deadpool is known for his penchant towards breaking the fourth wall and talking directly to audiences.

And this trailer just looks delicious. It's out February next year, until then enjoy the below:
