12 rad tracks that are also raising funds for the International Women's Development Agency.

Melbourne label Synth Babe Records have teamed up with the Node Techno Collective for an awesome new release/initiative - Babes Of...Melbourne Part A & B, set for release over summer. Not only will the releases be a showcase of some of Victoria's exciting emerging female producers and frontwomen, but sales of the releases will raise funds for the International Women's Development Agency (IWDA).

Babe Records' Anya Trybala AKA Ninoosh said, "This compilation idea was pitched to me by Andre Jones from Node Techno Collective a couple of months ago. Since then a whole swag of amazing women have sent us songs - we even have to split it in Part A and B! Hopefully this year we release comps from cities from around the world - with all Bandcamp profits going to support the International Women's Development Agency, who do amazing work in the pacific region and across the world with women."

The list of artists set to feature on the releases is long and full of crazy-good talent, including Ok Sure, Louise Terra, SAATSUMA, Paradigm, LACUNA, KT Spit, Chiara Kickdrum, Patricia Kay, Pillow Pro, Maya, Bek Davis, Symmetrix, Sophia Sin, Misumami, Khali Carter, Emah Fox and heaps more, and we're really proud to share with you part A. You can stream it via Bandcamp below, or just head straight HERE to buy it for $10, which gets you a swag of new tunes, plus helps out an organisation championing the breakdown of barriers to women's equal power.
