Listen: Sleep D - Freak Of Nature Volume 2

Australia’s underground club Freaks of Nature themselves return with three fresh cuts for the dance floor

Managing to maintain both quality and quantity when it comes to musical output is no mean feat, but the ever prolific and always on point duo Sleep D have managed to strike such a balance as can be heard on their latest EP, Freak of Nature Volume 2, released via their own influential Butter Sessions label.

Kicking off with Border Control (Ahora Si) featuring Butter Sessions alumni Ivy Barkakati and Furious Frank, the EP opens with an inviting, acid tinged slice of proggy house goodness, before giving way to the deep, dubby tech-house of Post Pump. Rounding things out is the spaced out sounds of Bass’d In Berlin, seemingly a perfect middle ground between the prior two cuts and perfect way to round out the EP.
